CampDoc and Daxko Expand Integration to Support Child Care Programs

Many community organizations run child care alongside other youth programs, often serving the same families at different points in the year. Even so, child care may sit in a separate department or follow a different process for managing health information.

Daxko and CampDoc have expanded their existing integration to include programs managed through the Child Care module in Daxko Operations. Staff can continue handling enrollment and daily operations in Daxko while using CampDoc for the health information their programs need.

For YMCAs, JCCs, Boys & Girls Clubs, community centers, and similar organizations, the expansion means child care can be included in the same CampDoc health process already used across more of their youth programming.

Talk With Our Team About the Integration

Child Care Is Often Part of a Much Larger Operation

Child care is often one part of a much larger youth program operation. The organization may also run afterschool care, school-break programs, preschool, or summer camp, sometimes with the same families moving between them throughout the year.

The programs may sit in different departments, even when they share staff or facilities. Over time, that can leave each team with its own way of collecting health forms and deciding what information staff need to see.

The expanded Daxko and CampDoc integration gives organizations a way to include child care in the health process they use elsewhere, rather than treating it as a separate track.

Continue Managing Child Care in Daxko

Organizations can continue managing enrollment and day-to-day child care operations in Daxko, just as they do today. The expanded integration connects those programs with CampDoc, where authorized staff can collect and review health forms, manage allergy and medication information, and access the records they need before and during the program.

That gives child care teams a clearer way to see which records are ready for review and where follow-up may still be needed. It also means health information can be handled through a process the organization may already use for its other youth programs, rather than creating a separate approach for child care.

Teams can add that structure without changing the operational system they already rely on.

A More Consistent Approach Across Programs

The value of a shared health process becomes especially clear when the same child participates in more than one program.

A child may attend afterschool care during the school year and return for day camp a few months later. Those programs may be run by different teams, but the child’s allergies, medications, and other health needs still matter in both places.

Staff need enough time to understand what has been submitted, notice what is missing, and prepare appropriately before the child arrives. Including child care in the existing Daxko and CampDoc integration gives organizations a more consistent way to handle that work across the programs a family uses.

It also helps prevent child care from becoming a separate health-information process simply because it is managed by another department or at another time of year.

Supporting Staff Before and During the Program

Health information still needs attention after a family submits its forms. Before a program begins, staff may need to follow up on missing records, review allergies and medications, or make sure the right people understand a child’s care needs. During the program, authorized staff may also need to look up that information or document the care they provide.

CampDoc gives organizations one place to manage that work, with digital health forms, medication administration records, illness and injury tracking, and role-based access to sensitive information.

When child care is added to an organization’s existing CampDoc use, those staff can follow a process they already know rather than creating a separate one for another part of the year.

Built for Organizations That Serve Families Year-Round

Youth programming rarely stays confined to one season or department. An organization that once used CampDoc only for summer camp may also run afterschool care, preschool, or child care at several locations.

The expanded Daxko and CampDoc integration gives those organizations a way to include more of that work in the same health management process. Enrollment and daily operations remain in Daxko, while CampDoc supports the health information staff need before and during the program.

That matters most when different teams are serving the same families at different points in the year. Staff can use the systems they already know without leaving child care on a separate health-information track.
