Integration Features

Single Sign On (SSO)

Integrations that feature SSO, or single sign-on, allow families to log into your camp management system and automatically be redirected to their CampDoc profile without having to enter a new password. There are no additional usernames, passwords or URLs.

Account Provisioning

Integrations that feature account provisioning, no longer require organizations to export participant rosters and upload them into CampDoc. If a participant does not exist in the CampDoc portal, an account will automatically be provisioned for them through the integration.

Our API conforms to RESTful design principles. Calls are made via the API through traditional HTTP requests.

What the heck is an API?

You may be wondering how an API (application programming interface) applies to you, and why it matters for your camp. CampDoc provides tons of ways to customize your account to fit your camp; however, sometimes camps have more complex needs.

For example, you may want to automatically sync camper data with your own database, or setup single sign-on (SSO) with your current parent portal. When this is the case, your web developers can implement custom functionality using our API.

When two systems (websites, desktops, smartphones) link up through an API, we say they are “integrated.”
